Went to 15 Minutes at Selegie Rd. It's actually in the La Salles arts school.

Great ambience, back to school benches and stools, local upcoming bands jamming at intervals, light lounge music and western food. Had some white wine with my creamy chicken linguine. Cool! Love the interior an the architecture of the building.

Notice how the appeal of the building n interior draws my attention. Haha think it's e special stuff that keeps u interested instead of a normal restaurant. I mean most of e food r e same... Some can b muh nicer but sone gets an edge w e decor

great Friday night out w friends!

After 1 drink we are both pretty happy :)

Haha my girl friend and i both had 2 cups of wine. see how different we look after it. The guys each had 1 pint of beer. Happy happy! Oh! Yup, that's what the modern glass metal architecture of the school look like. Super cool!

Black boards used as menu. I always have something for blackboards. so fun to write on them. haha

Sunset Grill & Bar

http://www.hungrygowhere.com/singapore/sunset_grill_pub_seletar/

went to the secluded SunsetBay to have a drink yerterday night after dinner with Alvin. It was e old Singapore Flying club's building. We both checked the review n for direction so both know what to expect. Basically the food is expensive, deserted location at the Seletar Airport but it offer good view of the sunset. by e time we were there, it was 9 pm after our dinner. Too bad that there was not sunset to admire. I suppose it will b very romantic watching the sunset there together over dinner. Next time then! Glad we made it there in e end. It's not easy to get e car to use nowadays.
Direction:
From Piccadilly, turn into Lambeth Walk, Hampstead Gardens, Western Avenue, into East Camp, all the way to Republic of Singapore Flying Club. Opens 4 to 11pm. Closes on Tuesdays.

Spicy chicken was so so as too expensive. Spicy Buffalo Wings ($17.50 for 6 pieces). Beer is always good:)

The place is very very basic. As basic as those "restaurant" in Malaysia. Notice those red plastic chairs and flimsy tables? There were also drains and cementy toilets there. No proper aircon place so for the amount that you are paying to dine there, it's not that worth it.

Verdict: Overpriced. Great view. Inaccessible

Feb: CNY , Valentine & Sundown BBQ

Chinese New Year was not bad. Cousin flew back from Germany with her husband. Glad they are working things out together  Happy that she finally found her partner even after 30 years old. Pretty amazing. They met while they were on the plane. The guy was on the flight back to Germany from Singapore while my cousin was on the way to UK to study her Masters. They chatted on the plane and left a good impression on each other. The flight is pretty long, I reckon about 13 hours to London. They exchanged emails and contacted each occasionally other ever since. Then he travelled to Uk to find her a few times. He also brought her to try skidding on the icy lake that made her squeal in fear and excitement. He learnt how to skid on the ice in a safe manner. I think that’s what they have to learn and practice to be prepared for icy situations on the road. Sounds pretty exciting to me!! I just love to hear love stories and how others find the person they like and want to spend time with.

Valentine’s Day. Haha. Hm… We decided to celebrate it few weeks after 14th Feb as it was CNY and I was going off for a holiday for a week. After returning from Kota Kinabalu I caught a cold and wasn’t feeling well for some time. So hence our plans changed again. Actually I’m not complaining because we had a few good Japanese meals and we completely enjoyed the sashimi together. So yummy!! Ichiban Boshi was recommended by my Bro and Sis-in-law. We went to Great World and order whatever they recommended.

There was this awesome butter mushroom soup. The mushroom fragrant and butter salt taste just takes our breath away! Would highly recommend it to everyone. We also had a set meal and there were just too many things in the set. There was Chuawanmushi, Salmon sashimi, fried salmon, soup, unagi, rice, 2 slices of orange and Fried prawns. Glad we only order 1 set to share. The price is very reasonable too. So that was one of the feast we had. We could not walk properly after the meal especially with our super full tummy… haha

CNY bbq at my place! Somehow I craved for bbq salty prawns and crab for almost a month and there was no occasion to eat those seafood. So my best girlies and their boys gather and prepared a cosy bbq feast. Sundown BBQ. We all put together a sumptuous meal and almost finished the food. Love the well presented salad. The crab was a bit disappointing as the fire was not able to cook it well. If we fire it for too long, the meat will become too dry… Think I will steam it the next time.

6-8 march in UK

yeah back in the Uk! Wish u All cld come n see thing n experience it together. Feels like ' I'm back!!' kind of
feeling. Everything is familiar n I finally get to freeze myself again
haha. Actually everything is old but the buildings n furnishing r pretty well maintained. Like a toilet roll dispenser may b rusty but it's clean n not dusty. R buildings here r mostly preserved n can't b torn down(especially those in central London) so they can only refurbish the interior n put carpets n wallpaper to renew the interior. :)

This weekend is dedicated to shopping n it has been fruitful. Hee bro
n dad v v patient one. Bro brought book to read so he can go his
starbucks to chill while I go wild :p. Dad jua use his laptop to surf
net. Heh. Sat went h&m n got many things. With e very good exchange
rate it's so easy to buy things haha. 2.2 x sgd only. Last time I came was
3x.

Today went Burberry outlet n got a New cap for jus £19 which is abt
$40. Haha dun thing there can b anything of that price in Burberry
shop... N went Aldo outlet!!! Man... I got 2 pairs of super high heel
with lots of bling n it's £10+£12!!! can't believe it haha.

Will see some property. Really want to move here asap... Quit my job n do something
here.

I'll upload some photos for u to see on facebook!

Been travelling on plane car n
trains... Always feel so nauseous... N not enough sleep. Can't sleep
well... Suddenly jump up at 8am Uk time even though I sleep 6hrs
only...
