Meaningful relationships

We share about our days and experiences.

Meet up twice a week.

This is really getting meaningless if it leads to nowhere. Or no solution to it.

What's makes a meaningful conversation?

What makes a relationship meaningful?

When there is a common goal? When there is a target? When there are common activities that both enjoys?
Or doing meaningful activities together?

Feel like I'm talking to a wall because there is no reply. Or air because he doesn't even read it. Not even an echo.

Maybe we are not meant for one another. If you think you might make a wrong decision now then might as well don't make it.

I don't wish to be part of anyone's wrong decision. I don't intend to make any wrong decision. So it can only be a right decision with the right person.

More than one person's life is at stake. I'm going to be responsible and shall speak out.

I want to be with a person I truely love forever even in heaven. Upsets me that you cannot. Upsets me that we can't discuss certain topics. Upsets me that you cannot understand so we avoid it altogether.

I tried to accept you as you are but I cannot. There is bound to be unhappiness if this continues. I can't stand it when you are not even trying.
Maybe in not worth it. Or it's probably not your time yet. Rest assure someday you will. There is no better truth out there that give you hope. Love, hope and truth will prevail because it can't help but outlast all other worldly things and ideas.
No one can prove it wrong.... Because it is the truth.

Jesus and God loves you dearly and cannot be happier if you go closer and get to know them better. Why are you so afraid and heart so full or rejection? What are you afraid of? Life won't go wrong thereafter. Or is the light just too bright and makes your eyes so painful?

Take a chance. Give them a chance.

Conversation between man and God

Something to share w u all 😃
Awesome Conversation between God And a Man. Read it and don’t forget to share it with your friends.

Man: God, can I ask You a question?

God: Sure

Man: Promise You won’t get mad …

God: I promise

Man: Why did You let so much stuff happen to me today?

God: What do u mean?

Man: Well, I woke up late

God: Yes

Man: My car took forever to start

God: Okay

Man: at lunch they made my sandwich wrong & I had to wait

God: Huummm

Man: On the way home, my phone went DEAD, just as I picked up a call

God: All right

Man: And on top of it all off, when I got home ~I just want to soak my feet in my new foot massager & relax. BUT it wouldn’t work!!! Nothing went right today! Why did You do that?

God: Let me see, the death angel was at your bed this morning & I had to send one of My Angels to battle him for your life. I let you sleep through that

Man (humbled): OH

GOD: I didn’t let your car start because there was a drunk driver on your route that would have hit you if you were on the road.

Man: (ashamed)

God: The first person who made your sandwich today was sick & I didn’t want you to catch what they have, I knew you couldn’t afford to miss work.

Man (embarrassed): Okay

God: Your phone went dead bcuz the person that was calling was going to give false witness about what you said on that call, I didn’t even let you talk to them so you would be covered.

Man (softly): I see God

God: Oh and that foot massager, it had a shortage that was going to throw out all of the power in your house tonight. I didn’t think you wanted to be in the dark.

Man: I’m Sorry God

God: Don’t be sorry, just learn to Trust Me…. in All things , the Good & the bad.

Man: I will trust You.

God: And don’t doubt that My plan for your day is Always Better than your plan.

Man: I won’t God. And let me just tell you God, Thank You for Everything today.

God: You’re welcome child. It was just another day being your God and I Love looking after My Children…

REPOST if you believe in GOD

Why Do we feel sleepy in Prayer,

But stay awake through a 3 hour movie?
Why are we so bored when we look at the HOLY BOOK,

But find it easy to read other books?
Why is it so easy to ignore a msg about God,

Yet we forward the nasty ones?
Why are Prayers getting smaller,

But bars and clubs are expanding?

Why is it so easy to worship a celebrity,
But very difficult to engage with God?

Think about it, are you going to forward this?

Are you going to ignore it, cause you think you will get laughed at?

Forward this to all your friends.

80% of you won't forward this.
God  said:
If you deny me in front of your
friends, I will deny you on the day of judgment:
When one door closes , God opens two : If God has opened  doors for you,
send this message to everyone
including me....
God has no BLACKBERRY but he's my favorite contact ... !!
He is not on FACEBOOK but he is my best friend .... !!
☀He is not on TWITTER but I still follow him .... !!
& even without the INTERNET I am always connected to him .....!!
He is not on WHATSAPP but he's always online .....!!
Forward this
if God's been good to you....🙏

Life and it's meaning

"Life is nothing more than a combustion process, a process of oxidation."

As he saw in the camps, those who found meaning even in the most horrendous circumstances were far more resilient to suffering than those who did not. "Everything can be taken from a man but one thing," Frankl wrote in Man's Search for Meaning, "the last of the human freedoms -- to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way."

"it was a question of getting them to realize that life was still expecting something from them; something in the future was expected of them"

A man who becomes conscious of the responsibility he bears toward a human being who affectionately waits for him, or to an unfinished work, will never be able to throw away his life. He knows the "why" for his existence, and will be able to bear almost any "how."

"Happiness without meaning characterizes a relatively shallow, self-absorbed or even selfish life, in which things go well, needs and desire are easily satisfied, and difficult or taxing entanglements are avoided," the authors write.

Happy people get a lot of joy from receiving benefits from others while people leading meaningful lives get a lot of joy from giving to others," explained

What sets human beings apart from animals is not the pursuit of happiness, which occurs all across the natural world, but the pursuit of meaning, which is unique to humans, according to Roy Baumeister, the lead researcher of the study and author, with John Tierney, of the recent book Willpower: Rediscovering the Greatest Human Strength. Baumeister, a social

Meaning is not only about transcending the self, but also about transcending the present moment.

Meaning, on the other hand, is enduring. It connects the past to the present to the future.

As Anna S. Redsand recounts in her biography of Frankl, he was at a loss for what to do, so he set out for St. Stephan's Cathedral in Vienna to clear his head. Listening to the organ music, he repeatedly asked himself, "Should I leave my parents behind?... Should I say goodbye and leave them to their fate?" Where did his responsibility lie? He was looking for a "hint from heaven."   When he returned home, he found it. A piece of marble was lying on the table. His father explained that it was from the rubble of one of the nearby synagogues that the Nazis had destroyed. The marble contained the fragment of one of the Ten Commandments -- the one about honoring your father and your mother. With that, Frankl decided to stay in Vienna and forgo whatever opportunities for safety and career advancement awaited him in the United States. He decided to put aside his individual pursuits to serve his family and, later, other inmates in the camps.

Comment:

This story, wherever I read it, seems a perfect and elegant example of how the power of positive thinking and a caring and loving attitude can prevail over life's more negative occurrences and, more often than not, lead naturally to greater overall human happiness.

Aristotle had described not as the satisfaction of our desire for sensual pleasures, but a person's active pursuit of virtue or excellence,

they meant "eudaimonia," happiness achieved by fulfillment of human potential, not merely lazy contentment.

And I love the fact that everyone - the healthy, the sick, the strong, the disabled - is capable of pursuing excellence to the extent of their own limits.
